Spiderman is a hero because he stops evil. Tries to rescue people, like when he stopped a train from crashing in the movie.
In the show the media tried to make him seem like a bad guy because he was always at the scene of the crime and he had powers like them and a costume.And since the media has a big impact on what people think some think of him as a bad guy in the show.

I think Spiderman is a great example of a hero! (and of someone who people have sometimes called a villian too!)
